10 Indie Events To Check Out In February
Hooray! We’ve made it through January! The days are just that bit longer and it makes such a big difference to our daily routines and commutes.
As we get back into the swing of things, our energy levels increase and we’re ready to fit some more ‘life’ into our weeks.
So with that in mind, we’ve made planning your extra curricular activities for February that bit easier! Here are our top 10 indie events to enrich our lives in Oxford this month.
- Now until Saturday 10th February – Discover the Christopher Farrell – ‘Vantage Point | A Contemporary View Of Oxford‘ exhibition at the Sarah Wiseman Gallery.
- Saturday 10th February – Stock up on delicious artisan products from North Parade Market.

- Sunday 11th February – Immerse yourself in the adaptation of E M Forster’s classic ‘A Room With A View‘ at the Ultimate Picture Palace.
- Saturday 17th February – Create a Personalised Silver Cuff with Amy Surman.

- Sunday 18th February – Advanced Sushi with Jericho Cookery School.
- Tuesday 20th February – A Rosie Life Tassel Wall Hanging Workshop. Join me for an informal evening of creativity, where you will get to take home your own Wall Hanging and master some new skills along the way.

- Wednesday 21st February – Independent Oxford Business Meet Up. If you have an indie business, are a freelancer or are thinking of going it alone, join us for our 1st networking event of the year. Our meet ups are designed to be relaxed, and informal. We will do a short presentation about our plans for Indie Oxford this year, and then have time for everyone to meet and mingle.
- Thursday 22nd February – Painting: Getting Started – A 4 week evening class with Be In Art to help you unlock your creativity.

- Saturday 24th February – Get rid of your ‘Tech Neck’ with the Stiff Neck & Shoulder Release Workshop at YogaVenue.
- Sunday 25th February – Learn to cook Mumbai Street Food with Sophie’s Cookery School.
